Downtown Tampa Tops Southeast Recovery Rankings
The University of Toronto’s School of Cities recently undertook an experiment to rank how cities in the US and beyond have experienced downtown recovery compared to pre-COVID activity levels.
The data demonstrates Tampa tops the economic recovery charts compared to other cities in the Southeast. It also suggests there’s room for our boom to run, as downtown activity levels have only returned to 84% of pre-COVID levels.
